NAMING CHS EXCLUSIVE CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR OF THE TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT WARMING AND COOLING SYSTEMS (CRITICOOL AND ALLON) AND THE NEW INTRODUCTION OF BILICARE – NON-INVASIVE TRANSCUTANEOUS BILIRUBIN METER MONITORING SYSTEM
We are pleased to advise that Canadian Hospital Specialties (CHS) has been named as the exclusive distributor in Canada for Mennen Medical’s Temperature Management systems and the transcutaneous bilirubin monitoring system effective December 15th, 2017.
CHS, a national specialty distributor and manufacturer of medical products based in Oakville, Ontario, has been active in the Canadian medical device industry for over 50 years, and representing many global leaders in the medical device field in Canada.
Mennen Medical is a leader in patient monitoring, targeted temperature management systems, diagnostic instrumentation and clinical information systems for hospital-based cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology and critical care applications, with over 50 years’ experience as a vital signs monitoring technologies developer and manufacturer.
Mennen Medical TTM solutions enable healthcare providers to control & maintain a precise patient body temperature, thereby, paving the way for significant medical and economic benefits.
The product lines include:
CritiCool which provides precise non-invasive solution for induced hypothermia from NICU, through PICU to ICU.
New CritiCool Mini – which provides all the benefits of the CritiCool in compact size, for NICU and transport teams.
Allon, which is an innovative solution for precise control of Normothermia in specialized surgeries, providing excellent patient care and clinical benefits for cardiac surgeries, plastic, cardio-vascular procedures, transplants and many more.
In addition, CHS will also introduce into Canada Mennen’s new product line – the BiliCare – a non-Invasive Transcutaneous Bilirubin Meter Monitoring System, making possible to accurately and conveniently measureand monitor the level of bilirubin in newborns to assess the risk of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. The BiliCare is suitable to be used in the NICU, newborn nursery, mother’s room or pediatrician’s office.
As part of the distribution partnership, Canadian Hospital Specialties will support the existing Mennen Medical products users in Canada, and market to new customers, effective December 15th, 2017.
